Uber customers in the United States, Canadain France, the United Kingdom and Australia will soon be able to rent vehicles from Turo’s vast selection directly on the Uber platform.
SAN FRANCISCO, September 5, 2024 /PRNewswire/ — Uber Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: UBER) and Turo, Inc., the world’s largest car sharing platform, today announced a multi-year partnership that will enable Uber customers to rent Turo’s vast selection of vehicles directly from the Uber app in major markets worldwide.
Uber will integrate Turo’s extraordinary selection of more than 1,600 makes and models into the Uber Rent platform beginning in early 2025. The partnership aims to provide Turo hosts with more entrepreneurial opportunities, while also enabling millions of Uber customers in the US, UK, Canadain Australia and in France of get behind the wheel of some of the latest and most popular vehicles.
