Eggy and Dogs In A Pile Announce Two-Night Co-Headlining Run at The Capitol Theatre

Eggy and Dogs In A Pile will come together for a two-night run at the historic Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, N.Y., on Nov. 29 and 30. The newly dropped dates arrive after a summer hot streak for both ensembles, who have spent the last season and beyond gaining national notoriety while traversing the country and sharing songs with fans, both new and old.

The impending concerts, presented by Relixwill feature altering closers, with Eggy and Dogs In a Pile each performing approximately 90-minute sets on Friday and Saturday nights. Each evening will culminate in a collaborative encore, which fuses their musical stylings into an amalgamated instrumental force. These shows represent the continuation of The Capitol Theatre’s Friendsgiving tradition, which was led by Twiddle in years past.

“This two-night run is the culmination of what both bands have been working towards for a long time. We are lucky to share it with each other and even luckier to share it with the folks that frequent a first-class venue like The Capitol Theatre,” said Dogs In A Pile keyboardist Jeremy Kaplan.

Eggy drummer Alex Bailey boasted, “It’s not often that a place lives up to its hype, even more rare to exceed expectations. The Cap is one of those special places that words never quite do justice. We’ve had the opportunity to experience the magic as fans and have now gotten to share the stage in support of Twiddle, The Disco Biscuits, and Umphrey’s McGee. To be able to deliver a show as a headlining band (alongside our good friends, Dogs In A Pile, no less!) is an absolute dream come true. We can’t wait to celebrate this weekend with everyone.”

For Eggy, the impending two-night stand will arrive after the September 6 release of its forthcoming LP, Waiting Game, and a hotbed of ensuing appearances, including festival slots at Austin City Limits and Sea.Hear.Now. Previously, the group drew a crowd during their Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival stand and a support slot during Blues Travelers’ annual takeover of Red Rocks Amphitheatre.

Dogs In A Pile have turned up at iconic venues like The Mishawaka while on tour with Pigeons Playing Ping Pong and Andy Frasco & The U.N., this summer. Notably, the band is preparing for a lengthy fall run, which includes an opening slot for The String Cheese Incident on Sept. 28 at Wonderland Forest. Via press release, Dogs noted their current effort to deliver a new album in 2025.

Ticket presale for the Relix Presents event is on now through Thursday, Sept. 5 at 10 p.m. E.T. General on-sale begins Friday, Sept. 6 at 10 a.m. E.T.
