Koh-Lanta is back in force on TF1 with its new season, the cursed tribe, broadcast since August 20, 2024. This edition promises to be one of the most intense with the heroes Ugo and Frédéric. Like every season, twists and turns are to be expected in each episode. And from the first weeks, the adventure has already reserved its share of surprises, especially with the adventurers who must join the cursed tribe. Last week, it was Emmanuelle who faced the sentence. This Tuesday, September 3, 2024, the adventurers tested themselves on the canoe test to try to win fruit and 1.5kg of rice.

“It’s the first time”
For this event, the two tribes had been able to make their canoe the day before the event. A moment that caused some tension among the reds, while Alexandre tried to impose his vision of the construction of the boat. Sarah had nevertheless tried to calm her comrade, who curtly answered her: “I’m tired”. The event was therefore expected to be tense for the red tribe. But from the first round, they managed to assert themselves and catch up with the yellow boat to seize their flag.
During the second round, Gustin, Alexandre and Marie found themselves on the canoe to try to win the race again in order to win the delicious reward. But a dramatic turn of events occurred. Unable to paddle anymore due to fatigue, they decided to stop in order to “save for later”Gustin admitted. They then released the paddles under the astonished eyes of Denis Brogniart. “This is the first time in the history of Koh-Lanta that adventurers have decided to stop paddling and thus in a way offer victory to their opponents”said the host. With 1 all in this frantic race, the reds finally pulled off a masterstroke during the third and final round, winning the canoe event.
Who were the first to be eliminated?
The adventure is complicated in many ways. Aside from the tough trials and the lack of food, the council is no easy feat either… The first council of the season was significant for the yellow tribe, which lost one of its members, Cécile, a flight attendant. After a defeat during the first immunity challenge, the yellow tribe had to vote, and Cécile was the first to leave the adventure. Her departure left a void in the team, especially since the Yellows quickly followed up with a second setback during the comfort challenge.
On the red tribe’s side, the first council was also a source of tension. Ari was eliminated, after a close vote within his team. The girls, supported by Alexandre, decided to vote against him, causing his exit and leaving a bitter taste in his mouth, particularly because of what he perceived as a betrayal on the part of Alexandre.
