For those with good memories, it was in 2019 – five years ago already – that an option was put forward for a cinema adaptation of the comics 4 Kids Walk into a Bank of Matthew Rosenberg et Tyler Boss. This mini-series published by Black Mask Studios (including comics Black must also be adapted) is at the crossroads of black comedy and heist story. A young girl who discovers that her father wants to rob a bank to provide for his family decides to gather three friends to carry out the said robbery herself so that her father does not end up in prison. Matthew Rosenberg He himself was hired to write the script for the adaptation, and it was by Deadline that we now have news of the casting, so the film could well see the light of day.

The American specialist media explains that the production company FilmNation is currently canvassing the film at the new edition of the TIFF while several big names are being considered for the casting, and are currently in talks. In the role of Dannythe old robber who plans to return to service, we will find Liam Neesonwhile his daughter will be played by Talia Ryder (Dumb Money, West Side Story).
