An advanced medical post was set up, as well as a temporary civil protection post. At least twenty emergency vehicles were still deployed at the Loubet basin at around 2:30 p.m. The sub-prefect of Boulogne Patrick Leverino is present, as is the mayor of Boulogne Frédéric Cuvillier.
Interior Minister expected
The mayor of Le Portel, Olivier Barbarin, closed the beach at the hoverport to allow helicopters to land. The prefect is expected in Boulogne in the afternoon, as well as the resigning Minister of the Interior, Gérald Darmanin.
