Another golden day for the French Paralympic Team at the Paris 2024 Games. Les Bleus are now 5th in the medal standings, with 26 medals, just one less than the United States and Brazil. A look back at a crazy day at the Paralympic Games, with 9 medals, including three gold.
Three gold medals… or even four
- Marie Patouillet won gold in the pursuit (C5) in para-cycling on the track ahead of another Frenchwoman, Heïdi Gaugain.
- Tanguy De La Forest won a new medal, this time gold, in the 10m prone rifle shooting.

- Émeline Pierre also reached the top step of the podium in the 100m freestyle S10.
The weekend ends in apotheosis
- In the F20 shot put, Gloria Agblemagnon snatched silver with a throw of 14.43m. Ahead of her, the British athlete achieved a new world record with 15.12m.
- This is also the case for Timothée Adolphe in the 400m T11. However, the French Team has appealed regarding the gold medalist, Venezuelan Enderson Santos Gonzalez, who was allegedly pulled by his guide. The South American finished his race in 50”58 and Timothée Adolphe in 50”75.
- The first two medals of the day were bronze, in para-rowing, with Nathalie Benoit in PR1 single sculls and mixed coxed four.
- Manon Genest took bronze in the T37 long jump with her best performance of the season, in 4m59. It is the fourth medal for French athletics.
