The murder of Lola, 12, is a case that shocked France. On October 15, 2022, the girl’s body was discovered in a suitcase near her home in the 19th arrondissement of Paris. Two years later, the Paris prosecutor’s office issued its final indictment. In this 90-page document that RMC was able to consult, the Paris prosecutor’s office is requesting a trial at the assizes against the main accused, Dahbia B., 26, for murder accompanied by rape, torture or acts of barbarity.

1h37, that’s the time during which Dahbia B. held Lola captive in her sister’s apartment, on October 14, 2022, a few meters from the 12-year-old girl’s home, in the 19th arrondissement of Paris. 1h37 of horrors. In its final indictment dated September 9, 2024, which RMC was able to consult, the Paris prosecutor’s office reports that Lola was the subject of a “wave of physical and sexual violence”, in “an obvious logic of humiliation”.

On Lola’s body, we find in particular “the inscription of two numbers, 0 and 1, written in red varnish under the arch of the little girl’s foot (…) a staging which leaves no doubt about the desire (…) to deny all humanity to the young Lola D. in a logic of debasement”.

Dahbia B. “had every intention of killing Lola”

The Paris prosecutor’s office concludes that Dahbia B. “had every intention of killing Lola” on October 14, 2022, when she forcibly took the little girl to her sister’s apartment. So many incriminating elements for the Paris prosecutor’s office to request a trial at the assizes against Dahbia B. for the murder of Lola accompanied by rape, torture or acts of barbarity. A crime punishable by life imprisonment.

In view of the extreme violence of the acts against a child she did not know and the staging of the body, the question of Dahbia B.’s mental health arose the day after her arrest on October 15, 2022. All the more so since she claimed to have had the impression that the little girl was “a ghost” and then a “sheep” when she acted.

Remarks tinged with mysticism that did not convince the psychiatrists. Rather retaining his “tendency to deception, manipulation and his perversity”, the two psychiatric assessments concluded that he was “full responsible” at the time of the events. Just like all the medical opinions included in the file, specifies the final indictment of the Paris prosecutor’s office.

“Immediately after her act,” recalls the deputy prosecutor, “Dahbia B. tried to cover up the murder.” She cleaned the crime scene, placed the girl’s body in a suitcase that she sprayed with bleach to mask the smell of blood. She contacted many men around her until one of them, a VTC driver, agreed to come and take her. He is currently under investigation for receiving stolen goods and is under judicial supervision.

The prosecution requests a dismissal of the case against the VTC driver

In his case, the prosecution is now requesting a dismissal of the case, considering that he did not know that the child’s body was hidden in a trunk when he welcomed Dahbia B. into his home for four hours after the murder. He had justified “by his desire to have sexual intercourse, the fact of having taken charge of Dahbia B. and by his lack of curiosity, the fact of not having realized the seriousness of the situation despite the various calls from his employer and the smell of the trunk, as described by witnesses as well as its weight.”

Finally, he had ordered another private driver for Dahbia B. who had left his studio with the suitcase, before abandoning it at the foot of his sister’s building. Contacted by RMC, no lawyer for the defense or the civil party wished to react to this final indictment.
