I was ready to have surgery right away but it wasn’t possible. So I went to the Tokyo Games realizing how happy I was to be there.”he revealed to Tele-Leisure.
Today, the sports commentator is all the more grateful for his good health, as he has been victim of a bicycle accident last year. “My accident broke eight ribs with a slight pneumothorax, but a few centimetres away, it could have been at the cervical level… I am very lucky. Never forget where you come from, how lucky you are. There are trials that you go through and that nourish you.”he concluded.
