On October 7, 2024, a gala dinner prestigious was organized at the hotel The Source in Marrakech, before the start of a special Football match. This event, organized by businessman Fouad Ben Kouider and his partner Nawel Debbouze, brought together many personalities such as comedian Redouane Bougheraba, actress Hamaka Farah El Fassi, fighter Ciryl Gane, content creator Just Riadh, comedian Eko and many others.
A friendly football match to raise awareness about water conservation in Morocco
The match, named Agafay Football 2024, took place the next day between Team Heroes and Team Morocco. He played in a unique settingin the heart of the Agafay desert. Former football stars, such as Robert Pires – who recently revealed his divorce -, Christian Karembeu and Samir Nasri, put on their crampons for a good cause. Opposite, Moroccan talents like the former captain of the national team Noureddine Naybet, showed their support for the initiative.
Indeed, beyond friendly competition, the real issue of this meeting was raising public awareness, particularly among young people, of the problem of water conservation in Morocco. For Fouad Ben Kouider declared: “Beyond its sporting and fun aspect, Agafay Football 2024 was an opportunity to raise awareness among young people and children about water preservation. Morocco, like many other countries, is experiencing this problem which impacts its population and its ecosystem. Our objective is therefore to serve as a lever for raising awareness around a vital cause, while making the dreams of young Moroccans come true by allowing them to meet their favorite stars.“.
A sporting and solidarity project to bring celebrities and young audiences together
This project, initiated by the Debbouze-Ben Kouider couple, is not content with organizing a simple sporting match. It’s about creating a moment of sharing and learning where young participants from surrounding villages were able to meet their idols. The Team of Heroes, already known for its charity matches across France, aims to bring celebrities closer to the general public. This concept, inspired by Variety Club de France, is expanding to include not only personalities from the sporting world, but also actors, comedians and influencers. Among the famous faces, we find William Mbappé, Robert Pirèsrecently divorced of Jessica Lemarie after 21 years of living together, as well as several celebrities from the world of entertainment.
On a personal level, Nawel Debbouze and Fouad Ben Kouider, engaged since June 2021, continue to cultivate their happiness. Nawel, the sister of comedian Jamel Debbouze, does not fail to share her love for Fouad on social networks with beautiful declarations.
