Thanks to two goals from players from Botafogoo Brazil turned on Chile and won 2-1on the night of this Thursday (10), by World Cup qualifiers. One of the heroes was Luiz Henrique, who scored the turning goal, his first with the national team’s shirt.
Making reference to Amarildo and Garrincha, legends from Botafogo who were part of a historic generation of Brazilnumber 21 showed all his desire to shine with the national team’s shirt.
“I’m happy to have these Botafogo legends who were champions here. This shirt represents a very big feeling for us. We know what’s happening, but we want to change that and we’re going to change. We’re going to represent this shirt with a lot of determination and a lot of love. The fans can know that we will fight with all our strength because Brazil is the only team with five stars,” he said, in an interview with Globo.
And as much as he is currently serving Brazil, Luiz Henrique also sent a message to the Botafoguenses, who are experiencing a historic year, with the team leading the Brasileirão and in the semi-finals of the Libertadores.
“Happy to score the winning goal, two goals from two Botafogo players. We are very happy, I imagine the Botafogo fans are cheering us”, he concluded, at SportTV.
