ASVEL players host Monaco, at the Astroballe, this Sunday October 6. A match that promises to be complicated against a team undefeated for ten games.
This evening, the Lyonnais will try to turn the page on their disappointing start to the season in the Euroleague, after their defeat against Maccabi Tel-Aviv (89-82). They will try to beat the Monegasques, for the third day of the Betclic Elite championship.
The match will kick off at 7 p.m. at the Astroballe in Villeurbanne, a smaller venue than the recent LDLC Arena, with 5,500 seats compared to 12,000.
ASVEL has not beaten Monaco in ten matches
A match that promises to be difficult because the Lyonnais have not managed to beat the Roca Team since 2022. The Monegasques have won by less than ten consecutive games against the Lyonnais.
But the Monegasques are not declaring victory early. Before the match, their coach Sasa Obradovic declared “ASVEL is an experienced team, with young prospects. It will not be easy to win at home.”
For the moment, Charles Kahudi’s teammates are second in the Betclic Elite ranking, behind Cholet.
