On June 11, Françoise Hardy died at the age of 80 after a long battle with illness. It was his only son Thomas Dutronc who announced the sad news on social networks. “Mom is gone…”he soberly wrote on his Instagram account, attaching to this post a photo of himself as a child in his mother’s arms.
A few months after the disappearance of his mother, Thomas Dutronc unveiled a new, very personal album called It’s never too late. Asked by Julia Vignali about Europe 1he then explained that he did not “Unfortunately” was unable to play his album to his mother before her death. “I always waited until the last moment because she was always worried”confided the 51-year-old singer.

“I have experienced some pretty strong things over the last ten years. I met someone. There was a breakup and a reunion. It was quite a story. I know I’m a bit of a ‘pipole’, but I’ve always tried not to be.”he added. Asked by Release on September 20, Thomas Dutronc only gave one piece of information on his partner’s profile. “We will just know that she is a Capricorn sign when he is Gemini with Leo ascendant…”wrote the newspaper.
