It’s a new season of the Best Pastry Chef full of new features that await viewers. On the program, a new castle, but also a new host. The show is getting a makeover for this season 13. Laëtitia Milot joins Cyril Lignac and Mercotte to host the show. She “will bring a new dynamic to the show thanks to his freshness, his empathy and above all his real passion for baking”the press release stated. Throughout the show, Laëtitia Milot will interact with the different pastry chefs and discuss their careers. This way, viewers will be able to get to know the candidates and their stories better. During this new season, viewers will also be able to discover all the pastry chefs in a completely new place: the orangery. “In this brand new, warm and friendly place, pastry chefs will be able to meet before or after a test, to chat with Laëtitia Milot”, can be read in the press release.Confidences, advice, moments of sharing and reactions after a challenge, this cozy and intimate place will be the ideal place for pastry chefs.” Viewers will also be able to watch the last chance competition. Noëmie Honiat and Mohamed, semi-finalists of season 10, will make their big comeback to challenge the 14 new candidates.

For this new season, these are 14 pastry chefs from and Belgium, who came to face the terrible trials of Cyril Lignac and Mercotte. Such diverse profiles that will come together around a single theme: baking. Viewers will therefore meet Aurélie, a beekeeper, Benjamin, a former soldier from , Céline, who discovered baking while making her children’s birthday cakes, as well as Christelle, who makes cakes with flavors from the South.
