OM will have to do without Leonardo Balerdi, its captain and central defender, on Saturday evening in Toulouse for the 3rd day of Ligue 1. The Argentinian international, who suffered a quadriceps injury in his right thigh, will be replaced by Canadian Derek Cornelius in the starting eleven at the Stadium, Roberto de Zerbi announced.
The Italian coach of the Marseille club has also retained Neal Maupay, who arrived at the end of the week in the Phocaean city. The French striker is the latest recruit of the summer transfer window of OM, loaned for a season by Everton (Premier League).
