Golo and Ahmed Hamidi for “Golo & Ritchie”

-

Since August 14, the documentary “Golo & Ritchie”, directed by Ahmed Hamidi and Martin Fougerol, has been in theaters. They followed Golo and Ritchie, two thirty-somethings who grew up in the same neighborhood, Grande Borne in Grigny. Their friendship is unique: Ritchie has an autism spectrum disorder, but for Golo, that makes no difference. So when Ritchie is expelled from his educational center, Golo challenges him: leave the daily life of the city to cross France by bike. A sensitive human adventure for these two extraordinary friends.

The film is produced by Hugo Sélignac, with whom Ahmed Hamidi has been working since 2013.
