There was unrest in Morlaix (Finistère), on the Callac road, around 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, August 28, 2024. A resident contacted the police to report a dispute he had with one of the people, who currently resides on private land occupied by travelers.

This person, a man, was actually wanted in connection with another investigation, and was arrested. The police have not communicated on the nature of the case for which he was the subject of a wanted sheet.

The camp was inspected

The police then inspected the camp and found objects that were supposedly stolen. Further investigations will be carried out. Both the police and the gendarmerie have opened their own investigations.

During the intervention, the municipal police, the national police, the Brest intervention brigade and the gendarmerie surveillance and intervention platoon (PSIG) were on site, between fifteen and twenty officers.
