Today, Friday, Moroccan runner Ayman El Hadaoui won the bronze medal in the 100m race for the T47 category, in the Paralympic athletics competition of the Paralympic Games currently being held in Paris.

Al-Hadawi won the bronze medal in the race after completing the distance in 10.78/100 seconds.

The gold medal went to Brazilian Ferreira dos Santos with a time of 10.68/100 seconds, ahead of American Best Korban with a time of 10.75/100 seconds.

The Moroccan champion reached the end after taking first place in the first elimination round, covering the distance in 10.69/100 seconds, ahead of Cuban Gonzalez Isidoria Rasiel Benoguet, who finished 10.74/100 seconds.

Third place went to Shigwederi Kudawashi Byadamoyo of Zimbabwe with a time of 10.78/100.

His compatriot, Ayoub Al-Sadni, who competed in the second elimination series, was eliminated after two false starts.

This is the first medal for Morocco in the current Paralympic Games.

Issa Al-Daghoghi, the coach of Moroccan runner Ayman Al-Hadawi, who practices in the United States of America, said that Al-Hadawi ran the 100m race, although it is not his main specialty, which is the 400m, to gain speed.

He added in a statement to the Maghreb Arab Press Agency that the race witnessed strong competition between a group of runners, including Dos Santos and Corbin.

He expressed his hope that Ayman would win the 400m race, and why not set a world record, although that would not be easy with the presence of his fellow Olympic and world champion, Ayoub Al-Sadni.
