Today, Friday, Moroccan Ayoub Douicha was awarded another bronze medal for Morocco in the under 63 kg weight class of the “K44” category in the sport of Parataekwondo, within the competitions of the 17th session of the Paralympic Games currently being held in Paris, by decision of the competition doctor.

Douicha of Morocco won the bronze medal after defeating Brazilian Nathan Tocuato in the second replay, after the latter withdrew due to injury.

It is worth noting that Duwaisha won his first match in the round of 16 against Uzbekistan’s Zukhrudin Tokhirov with a score of 17 to 15, and lost in the quarter-finals to Italian Antonino Bussolo with a score of 4 to 17, then won the first replay against Giraldo Castro Encarnacio from the Dominican Republic with a score of 19 to 13.

This is the second medal for Morocco in the Paris Paralympics after the bronze medal won by runner Aymen El Hadaoui in the 100m race in the “T47” category, which he also won today, Friday.
