Canet as boss
The Moto2™ riders were on track this Friday at the Marco Simoncelli circuit in Misano to take part in the FP and P1 of the Red Bull Grand Prix of San Marino and Rimini Riviera. Second this morning, Arfrom Canet (Fantic Racing) upped the pace in the afternoon with the best time thanks to a mark set in 1’35.561. The Fantic pilots develop Celestine Vietti (Red Bull KTM Ajo) so Manuel Gonzalez (QJMOTOR Gresini Moto2™), already in the running this morning.
Arbolino back in the game
Leader de la FP, Tony Arbolino (ELF Marc VDS Racing Team) finished the day in fourth position ahead of Albert Arenas (QJMOTOR Gresini Moto2™) as well asOh Ogura (MT Helmets MSI), which will compete in MotoGP™ next season. Excellent last week at the start of the weekend, Alonso Lopez (Sync Speed Up) is now seventh.
Garcia in the hard
They too are future drivers of the premier category, Somkiat Chantra (IDEMITSU Honda Team Asia) et Fermín Aldeguer (Sync Speed Up) concluded a decent Friday in eighth and ninth place respectively. Filip Salac (ELF Marc VDS Racing Team) completes the top 10 while some title contenders are in more difficulty. Both made mistakes this morning, Joe Roberts (OnlyFans American Racing Team) and the Championship leader Sergio Garcia (MT Helmets MSI) are respectively 20th and 24th in the afternoon session. Also noteworthy is the fall of Jake Dixon (CFMOTO Aspar Team) and P1.
Moto2™ riders will compete for P2 on Saturday at 9:25 am in Misano.
