REPORTAGE – After a very difficult year in 2024 for Reconquête!, the Zemmourist party is changing its approach and is banking on the cultural fight to exist.

Special envoy to Orange

This Saturday morning, on the platform of Orange station (Vaucluse), as she got off the train from Paris, an activist moaned: “I’m tired from my week, I said to myself this morning, it takes courage to go and see Zemmour ». Like her, several hundred activists got up at dawn to go to the 3th edition of the Reconquête! summer university.

At the bottom of the wave after a hellish election year, Éric Zemmour still gathered more than 1,700 supporters for his political comeback. In a festive atmosphere, a band awaited the activists, –curiously– to the tune of the anti-fascist song “Hello beautiful”It was the former mayor of Orange, Jacques Bompard (made ineligible after a conviction for illegal taking of interests), one of the first elected officials to join Éric Zemmour, who gave the introductory speech. “What brings us together this morning is the desire to save our country”started…
