The teachers went on strike yesterday and classes are suspended this Friday and tomorrow morning for the Premières and Terminales. All because of numerous inconsistencies in the students’ timetables. Arriving at the last minute, they are planning for some classes starting at 7:30 a.m., days that end at 7 p.m., a non-existent or very short lunch break and classes on Wednesday afternoon.

The academy director received a delegation of teachers this Thursday, and an audit is being conducted within the establishment which nevertheless welcomes more than 3,000 students. Clearly everything will be overhauled and the timetables redone.
