It was within the framework of the great national cause 2024 Sport, Health and Well-being that Bernard Dinnat, President of the Departmental Youth, Sports and Associative Committee, presented a Golf kit to the Foyé de Monié de l'Adapei, In the presence of Jacques Lansalot, president of mutual harmony and partner of the operation. A partnership between two associations sharing a common vision: promoting the benefits of sport adapted to people with disabilities and dependent people, for their health and well-being.
This activity promotes social interactions, while requiring precision and concentration, and can even arouse stimulating challenges between residents. Obviously, the Golf Putting Kit can be practiced inside establishments, thanks to a putting carpet, putters as well as flexible bullets that allow you to play inside without any risk for residents. This by associating teachers in adapted physical activities (EAPA) who take their places in a personalized project by providing by the practice of adapted physical activity the development or the maintenance of autonomy and quality of life, thus contributing to Support in socio -cultural fields. A role which thus fits into the general project of development of places of life.
For some residents, former golfers or having a minimum of practice, the experience has made it possible to rekindle memories, take control of the putter and test their address. For the others, this initiation offered the discovery of an enriching recreational game, conducive to the development of balance, concentration and coordination.
