The emotion was strong for the Australian from KTM who signed his first victory on the Dakar on Friday, after a lot of struggles. But he controlled his nerves to conclude a week that could not escape him. In the lead since day one, the 30-year-old rider represented one of the rare islands of stability in a stormy motorcycle race.
