Zak Brown, CEO of McLaren, has made some revelations about his big return to McLaren a few years ago, which initiated a comeback to the top. McLaren regains ambition now

Since 2014, McLaren had fallen in the rankings, particularly during its collaboration with Honda. However, the arrival of Brown in 2016, then his taking over as general manager in 2018, marked a turning point. The rebuilding project has borne fruit, culminating in victory in the constructors’ championship in 2024, a first since 1998. Brown therefore insisted on the need to quickly change this resigned state of mind: “It was a state of mind very special. We were still a top team, but a top team that had gotten lost along the way. »
