Recently removed from the Formula 1 team, Sergio Perez is tipped for a return to the top of motorsport after being thanked by Red Bull.
The Mexican driver has been teaming up with Max Verstappen since 2021, having left Racing Point to join the team led by Christian Horner.

Verstappen and Perez experienced two years of dominationwinning the drivers' and constructors' championships in 2022 and 2023.
However, in the last season, Red Bull once again missed out on double championship success, largely due to the Perez's disappointing performance.
After several early eliminations during qualifying, Perez finished the season with two consecutive retirementswhich sealed Red Bull's third place in the teams' standings, with the 34-year-old placing just P8 in the drivers' championship.

Perez's father predicts return to F1
After Perez's worst season as a Red Bull driver, Horner and the team's executive assistant, Helmut Marko, decided to promote Liam Lawson of their junior team VCARB, with the New Zealand driver set to team up with Verstappen for 2025.
Following Perez's departure from the team, he failed to land a role elsewhere on the grid, but his father has now claimed he would consider a return to F1 if an offer arose.
Speaking to Imagen Television Mexico, Antonio Perez Garibay said: “I am sure he will accomplish great things through his foundation where he can unload all his energy, but I also tell you that the film is not finished if a very good opportunity presents itself in Formula 1.”
“I'm convinced that Checo would take this chance, but for any other category, I don't think he would,” he said.
