The French streamer RebeuDeter, who has already organized a boxing gala in Paris on December 7, would like to organize a new fight, this time between Inoxtag and the American IShowSpeed. The two seem to agree.
Inoxtag, a content creator who became known to the general public through a documentary recounting his ascent of Everest released last September, could now put on… boxing gloves. This is what one of his colleagues, the streamer RebeuDeter, wishes. The latter organized a boxing gala, DTR Fight, at Paris La Défense Arena on December 7. A gala which brought together 10 content creators in the ring, all supervised by the French Boxing Federation (FFB) and former Olympic champion Brahim Asloum.
As he confided in the show Popcorn from the streamer Domingo, RebeuDeter has a precise idea of a fight that he would like to see. “I didn’t speak to Inox or the second person concerned about it. But Inox against Speed, it’s a fight I dream of”he declared. IshowSpeed, a 19-year-old American streamer who has nearly 34 million subscribers on YouTube, produces a lot of content around sport, particularly around football and sometimes boxing.
iShowSpeed also wanted to face Jake Paul
Earlier in the year, he faced legend Manny Pacquiao in a brief fight that was more about entertainment than actual wrestling. Asked live on the Twitch platform about the idea of RebeuDeter, IshowSpeed replied: “Brother, no one can beat me in a fight. This guy (Inoxtag) looks like he weighs 60 kilos. I’m going to tear it up.”
Inoxtag, 22, responded on his X account with an image of Thanos, the big villain of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, implying that he accepted the fight. It remains to determine a date and location. In November, IshowSpeed shared his desire to face Jake Paul, a YouTuber and boxer seasoned enough to have defeated the legendary Mike Tyson, aged 58, on points.
