The annual Festival of Speed theme gives fans a hint as to what they can expect to see at the event that brings together some of the world’s most important cars, motorcycles and drivers each year.
The 2025 theme, “The Winning Formula – Champions and Challengers”, is inspired by the 75th anniversary of the Formula 1 World Championship. Since its creation in 1950, the incessant quest for he excellence of Formula 1 has inspired all forms of racing, from leaps and bounds in innovation and ambition, whilst setting new standards in speed, technology and design.
The Festival of Speed 2025 will showcase the sport’s quest to find “the winning formula”, bringing together the past, present and future of F1. Fans can expect to see legendary Formula 1 cars, drivers, teams, designers and personalities.
All the biggest championships represented
The 125 years of competition and innovation that have shaped modern motorsport, including the 125th anniversary of the Gordon Bennett Cup and the Thousand Mile Trial, will also be a source of inspiration for this 2025 edition of the Goodwood Festival of Speed. just like the 100th anniversary of the World Manufacturers’ Championship, won by Alfa Romeo with the revolutionary P2.
Uniquely, the Festival of Speed will finally welcome competitors from all the major world motorsport championships, including the World Endurance Championship, the World Rally Championship, Formula E, IndyCar, Nascar, the Dakar , MotoGp and Superbike.

The 2025 edition of the Goodwood Festival of Speed will be held from July 10 to 13.
