How much will drivers pay for the Super License in 2025?

As with the teams, the drivers will have to go through the cash register to drive next season. Max Verstappen, 2024 World Champion, will have to pay more than a million dollars.

To compete in the next World Championship, drivers will have to pay a certain amount for their Super License. According to SpeedCafe, the base sum is $12,097 and a per point bonus of $2,443. Last year, drivers had to pay $10,981 and $2,217 per point.

$1 million for Max Verstappen

2024 World Champion, Max Verstappen will have to pay the sum of 1,079,448 dollars. A year ago, the amount owed was $1,286,324, which was a record. Second in the driver rankings, Lando Norris will have to pay an amount of 925,779 dollars, while Charles Leclerc will have to pay 881,805 for his Super License. As for our French drivers, Pierre Gasly's Super License will cost $114,703, while Esteban Ocon's will cost $68,286. FIA F2 champion Gabriel Bortoleto, Jack Doohan, who freelanced in Abu Dhabi with Alpine, and Andrea Kimi Antonelli will have to pay $12,097.
