Former Monegasque Radamel Falcao scored the 347th goal of his career this Thursday, becoming the top Colombian scorer in history. The 38-year-old striker once again found the net during the Colombian championship match between his team Millonarios and Boyaca Chico.
“Yes, yes, yes, yes! The +Tiger+ (nickname given to Falcao, editor’s note) is the greatest scorer in history!”greeted on X Dimayor, the governing body of Colombian football.
With this goal, Falcao surpassed Victor Hugo Aristizabal, a former international who played for Atlético Nacional, Valencia, Sao Paulo and Cruzeiro.
Falcao has scored 36 goals for the national team – of which he is also the top scorer – and 311 for club, including 83 in four seasons at AS Monaco between 2013 and 2019, his club record. He also scored 72 with FC Porto and 70 with Atlético Madrid. After a long stay in Europe, this year he joined the Millonarios, a club from Bogota of which he is a big fan.
