VIDEO. “Ironman at home”… Just for fun, driver Valtteri Bottas completes an improbable triathlon without leaving home

Formula 1 driver Valtteri Bottas recently completed a triathlon without leaving home. An unusual performance.

The Ironman format – namely 3.8 km swimming, 180.2 km cycling, and the equivalent of a marathon on foot (42.195 km) – is enough to discourage more than one person. But not for driver Valtteri Bottas who took on the completely crazy challenge of achieving such a performance without leaving home.

In a video posted on his Instagram account on November 9, we see the Finn using his swimming pool, an exercise bike and a treadmill to complete his home triathlon in 10h59! With details: 1h05 for swimming, 5h29 for cycling and 4h23 for the marathon. Or how to demonstrate, if it were still necessary, to what extent F1 drivers are above all great athletes.
