Formula 1 | Hamilton expects Las Vegas to do better this year

Formula 1 will travel to Las Vegas for the second time in the current era in two weeks.

Is Lewis Hamilton, who looked forward to this race in previous years, still as enthusiastic after the first edition?

What did he think of this event last year? Did he appreciate everything that was happening around show business? And does he think Vegas will have corrected last year's hiccups (manhole cover) which deprived on-site spectators of on-track action on the first day?

“One of the cool things is that I feel like I play a role, however small, in these races that are coming to . It's something I've always asked for. They were saying where do you want to race and I always said Vegas.”

“And all of a sudden, a few years later, we had a race in Vegas. I think for our first race, naturally, there will always be, on any new circuit, learnings and things that don't happen not perfectly fine. So the weekend as a whole, what happened with the fans, I don't remember exactly, but it wasn't the quietest weekend in that regard, but The race was incredible.”

“Looking back, I think they will have made so many changes and it will be even better.”

“But yeah, driving under the night lights in Vegas was just amazing. We didn't have the car to be in front, especially that weekend, our Mercedes wasn't very happy on a track like that , but I hope it will be a little better this year.”

“And then I also talked about Africa, and we have, potentially, Rwanda in the pipeline, which is incredible. So I hope that happens in time before I leave. That's my biggest dream is to make sure I can race there before I retire.”
