A new start for Béziers rugby

The Irish entrepreneur has formed a pool of investors, supported by the company Strangford Capital, and therefore arrives in the world of rugby with large and beautiful projects, first and foremost among which is restoring the image of one of the most successful clubs in . Among the main supporters of the pool, two big names in rugby who will undoubtedly have a role to play within the future organization chart of the club: Andrew Mehrtens, all black fly half with 70 caps and ex ASBH player between 2010 and 2011 and former South African third row Robert “Bob” Skinstad, 42 caps with the Boks.

Former scrum half Johnny Howard, who also wore the colors of the ASBH between 20110 and 2013, very close to Andrew Mehrtens and who has kept strong ties to Béziers could have a role to play in the future organization chart of the club. The new owners could initially be tempted to finish the current season with the men in place.
