During the 2024 Singapore Grand Prix, Lando Norris dominated the race from start to finish, signing a new victory on the Marina Bay circuit. Qualified on pole, the McLaren driver was able to escape quickly and control the racewhile digging a significant gap on Max Verstappen. The latter had to settle for second place, more than 20 seconds by Norris, while Oscar Piastri completed the podium. The race was marked by the absence of major incidents, a rare occurrence in Singapore, with only two abandonmentsincluding that of Alex Albon for a cooling problem. With this victory, Norris closes his gap in the Drivers’ Championship, although Verstappen maintains a comfortable lead with 331 points against 279 for the British. With six races remaining, the title could well be decided during the last race of the season. This weekend, Formula 1 heads to Austin for the United States Grand Prix, where the battle between McLaren and Red Bull will continue to thrill us.
