Return of a historic recruiter to Stade Rennais

Philippe Barraud, current director of recruitment at the OGC training center, would have requested his departure to return to Stade Rennais, a few weeks after his departure.

According to information from Ouest-, Philippe Barraud (58 years old) spent as a player at Stade Rennais (1980-1988) then became a recruiter at the training center for the Bretons would be about to return. After the arrival as executive president of Arnaud Pouille in place of Olivier Clouarec, this is another major change in the organization chart.

Arriving this summer as director of recruitment at the OGC Nice training center, Barraud failed to acclimatize to the Côte d’Azur and reportedly requested his departure from his management. The GYM leaders would take this decision badly when they had put everything in place so that the newcomer could easily integrate into the club. In the end, after three months, Barraud already wants to slam the door because of “a choice of the heart”. If there is a return to Stade Rennais, he would resume his position as recruitment director of the Academy where he had welcomed young nuggets who became international stars such as Ousmane Dembélé or Eduardo Camavinga.
