While Kylian Mbappé left PSG last summer, no international striker arrived to replace him. And with the injury to Gonçalo Ramos on the first day of Ligue 1, Luis Enrique found himself without a reference number 9 since Randal Kolo Muani continues to disappoint. With this in mind, PSG would be interested in Marcus Thuram, who has a release clause estimated at €85M.

This summer, despite the departure of Kylian Mbappé and the injury of Gonçalo Ramos very early in the season, the PSG decided not to recruit a new center forward. Therefore, Randal Cole Muani had his chance, but didn’t take it. From now on, Luis Enrique prefers to line up a false 9 whatever Marco Asensio or Lee Kang-In. But for the future, PSG does not rule out the recruitment of an attacker.

Thuram at PSG, new confirmation

And for several days, a name has come up regularly in the Italian press, namely that of Marcus Thuram. Author of an impressive start to the season withInter Milanthe son of the 1998 World Champion is top scorer in Serie Atied with Mateo Reteguithanks to his 7 achievements in 7 appearances. Enough to convince the PSG to activate to recruit him as confirmed TMW.

An €85M clause?

And the Italian media specifies that the release clause included in the contract of Marcus Thuram is set at €85M. A sum that would not frighten the PSG which notably intends to sell Randal Cole Muani to finance the transfer of the other center forward of the team.
