“Victory is logical,” admits Dall’Oglio after Saint-Étienne victory

Olivier Dall’Oglio looked back on his team’s victory this Saturday against (3-1).

The coach of Saint-Étienne, Olivier Dall’Oglio, underlined the need for the Greens to display a large collective and unfailing solidarity to be able to exist in Ligue 1 after the victory against Auxerre (3-1), Saturday at Geoffroy-Guichard stadium in a match of the 7th day of Ligue 1. Since the rout in (8-0) on September 20, the Stéphanois obtained a draw in (2-2) and beat AJA. They moved up to 12th place with 7 points.

“We have to create a real collective to exist. It’s the only way in Ligue 1 and if the public responds, like this evening, it gives more energy to move forward. When the supporters see the boys stripping, they will follow us because it looks like Saint-Étienne”he commented at a press conference.

“We played big”

“We said we wouldn’t forget the slap in the face in Nice. We use it. We were strong and determined. We have a game system and principles to improve. We have to win more duels because we will face even more athletic opponents who will move us”warned Dall’Oglio. “We played big. Not everything was perfect but in the aggression, the self-sacrifice on the part of everyone, we saw a certain determination. We won a few more duels than in the last matches. Victory is logical”he estimated, emphasizing the state of mind of his group.

“This victory gives air but also confidence. The boys need to be rewarded for the efforts made in training.insisted the technician.
