Handball Podcast | Valentin Kieffer: “The goalkeeper position is a bit like Formula 1!”

To kick off season 2 in style, Handball Podcast offers you an exclusive interview with one of the new strong men of the LiquiMoly Starligue: Valentin Kieffer. Former goalkeeper and new pillar of Chambéry, Valentin confides at length to Tristan Paloc and Kader Rahim, his former captain at USDK, in an hour-long episode rich in revelations and anecdotes.

At only 25 years old, Valentin has already enjoyed a career full of challenges and successes. Voted best goalkeeper at the U21 World Cup in 2019, he had to wait and work hard before establishing himself among the elite. After four seasons in Proligue then a significant cohabitation with Samir Bellahcene in Dunkirk, he was able to seize his chance last year by becoming best goalkeeper in Starligue. Today, it is in Chambéry that he is pursuing his dream of the European Cup and, why not, of one day joining the French team.

In this episode, Valentin Kieffer speaks sincerely about his ambitions, his doubts and the moments that have marked his journey. Between passion, work and patience, you will discover an ambitious player, like the Alsatian and Chamberian climate.
