Jean-Charles Castelletto, FC player, sent to reserve by Antoine Kombouaré

Captain at the start of the season, the central defender of FC was sanctioned by Antoine Kombouaré following a heated discussion in the locker room after the draw against Saint-Etienne (2-2).

The central defender of FC Nantes, Jean-Charles Castelletto was sent to reserve by his coach, Antoine Kombouaré. According to Ouest-, the Cameroonian international would not have appreciated having had the flu in the locker room after the draw against Saint-Etienne last Sunday (2-2).

Castelletto was at fault for the penalty obtained by the Greens which led to the equalizing goal, just like against a week earlier. Two events which greatly displeased the Canaries technician who was quick to say what he thought at the end of the meeting. The Nantes player would then have reacted very badly and would have sent his thoughts back, which obviously did not please Kanak.

Castelletto absent this weekend?

The 29-year-old defender was fined and given a week of training with the reserve team which plays in Nationale 3. He is expected to play with this team this weekend and therefore miss the trip to where his team will play Sunday at 3 p.m.

This is the third player sent to reserve by Antoine Kombouaré this season, after Ignatius Ganago who also had a falling out with his coach at the start of the season and Marcus Coco who arrived late for training two weeks ago.
