A month and a half before the outcome, the collective led by Germain Roesch is recommending more participatory governance.

At 66, Gilles Moretton hopes to start a second four-year set at the head of the French Tennis Federation. Germain Roesch, the current president of the powerful Île-de- League (the largest in terms of number of members and votes), officially a candidate since June 19, is running against the current boss of the FFT, whose candidacy he had nevertheless supported in 2021. With less than three months to go before the verdict and the elective general meeting, synonymous with the end of the vote (December 14), the candidates are moving their pawns, campaigning and meeting with club leaders. The latter are important because they will count for half of the votes during this electoral process that began in September. If the outgoing president’s entourage is very confident, the match could be closer than expected against Germain Roesch, a former business leader.
