F1 – Mercedes with special livery in Singapore

This is a great way to please a long-standing partner, and not just any partner. As Petronas celebrates its 50th anniversary this year, Mercedes has decided to give a nice nod to the Malaysian oil company, its partner since the Star’s return to F1 in 2010.

Faced with the absence of the Malaysian Grand Prix, the last edition of which dates back to 2017, the German team has opted for the Singapore Grand Prix to appear with a new livery on its W15s. Thus, the Silver Arrows, usually adorned with a silver and black dress, will receive a touch of emerald green, the color so distinctive of Petronas.

Details of the said colour will appear on the nose as well as on the sidepods of the W15s of Lewis Hamilton and George Russell. This livery is therefore not only a celebration of their 50th anniversary, but a reflection of the importance of Petronas in our team’s history and a tribute to our shared journey. ” smiles Toto Wolff.
