It's not just the downhillers who hurtle down the Kitzbühel Streif. Thanks to Red Bull and its appetite for extreme sports, some athletes were able to descend the Streif on motorbikes, mountain bikes, Formula 1…
Red Bull is known for pushing all limits, “giving wings” as their slogan says. Kitzbühel Week is often a significant event for Austrian society. Every year, the latter offers impressive videos with other sports dear to them. In 2025, a plane flew over the Streif from end to end at crazy speeds. The finish line was passed at 324 km/h.
In recent winters, many champions have produced advertising spots in Kitzbühel. There was Max Verstappen in his Formula 1, Marc Marquez on his motorcycle, but also Matthias Dandois, the ten-time French flat mountain bike world champion, in demonstration, accompanied by an orchestra. Athletes also flew in wingsuits and two ski legends raced down the slope. For Marcel Hirscher, it was after his first retirement, he was then an usher during the official race. A dream come true for him.
