End of clap for Nico Rosberg's team

End of course for Nico Rosberg's team. After four seasons in Extreme E, the electric SUV championship organized by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA), the Rosberg X Racing team has announced that it is stopping.

Rosberg only in 2023, still with the Swede, but this time accompanied by his compatriot Mikaela Åhlin-Kottulinsky.

The reason behind Rosberg X Racing's withdrawal is the series' transition to the FIA Extreme H World Cup in 2025, where electric vehicles will be replaced by hydrogen drives.

“Creating RXR wasn't about racing, it was about creating a motivated team that could make a real difference, says Nico Rosberg. From our league victories to our environmental and equality initiatives, we have achieved so much together. Although it is a bittersweet moment to close this chapter, I am proud of what we have accomplished. »
