As for the now classic ranking established by team directors which was launched a few years ago by Autosport, the official website which took the initiative of asking all drivers to vote for their top 10 the past season.

The principle is the same as for the directors: each voter submits his or her list of ten names ranked in order and each position corresponds to the points of the scale in force for the Grand Prix of the world championship (25 points for the first, 18 pts for the second, 15 for the third, etc.). The rankings are then combined to give an overall ranking.

A sine qua non condition to guarantee the participation of a maximum of protagonists while ensuring a certain objectivity, this vote was anonymous. Regarding the terms, the pilots could vote for themselves, although most did not do so.

Before moving on to the results, here is the list of voters: Alexander Albon, Fernando Alonso, Valtteri Bottas, Franco Colapinto, Pierre Gasly, Nico Hülkenberg, Liam Lawson, Charles Leclerc, Kevin Magnussen, Lando Norris, Esteban Ocon, Oscar Piastri, George Russell , Carlos Sainz, Lance Stroll, Yuki Tsunoda, Zhou Guanyu. Among the notable non-participants, we obviously note the usual absence of Lewis Hamilton or that of the Red Bull drivers, which did not prevent Max Verstappen from being ranked first. Even if the points are not communicated, the Dutchman apparently did so with a comfortable lead.
