EA SPORTS F1 24: Celebration with in-game data

Electronic Arts celebrates the end of a thrilling Formula 1 season and reveals how the players kept themselves busy in EA SPORTS 24. In-game data reveals players' favorite drivers, teams, tracks and challenges, while highlighting their impressive performances. Players have traveled 3.56 billion miles, made 23.62 million pit stops and demonstrated strong engagement with new features and live service content.

For the first time, players were able to play as one of 20 F1® drivers, choose an up-and-coming F2™ competitor or a legendary icon in the revamped Career mode. Seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton topped gamer preferences as the most selected F1 driver, closely followed by Scuderia Ferrari's Charles Leclerc and new four-time world champion Max Verstappen. Oliver Bearman and Ayrton Senna were the most popular drivers in F2™ and among the Icons respectively.

In-game data revealed that Bahrain, Melbourne and Jeddah were the preferred racing locations for players, with players favoring traditional circuits over urban layouts. In terms of global skill, the British, Americans and Germans stood out as the fastest in the game. The United Kingdom, Italy and were the nations with the most red flags during the races, with a total of 31 million DNFs worldwide, making racing as exciting and unpredictable as in real life.

Players have enthusiastically embraced the new themed live service model, taking part in various challenges celebrating the past, present and future of F1 throughout the year. Players particularly enjoyed Oscar Piastri's Pro Challenge at the Circuit of the Americas, Charles Leclerc's Career Challenge, and the 1991 Brazilian Grand Prix racing scenario with Lando Norris.

“This F1 season has been exciting, both on and off the track. F1 24's new themed features and challenges allowed players to take advantage of this excitement, stepping into the shoes of their heroes and creating their own racing stories. We are grateful to our players and look forward to providing them with even more engaging experiences. »Lee MatherSenior Creative Director d’EA SPORTS F1 24.
