Only three other drivers managed to enter the Top 5: Fernando Alonso in Saudi Arabia (5e), Esteban Ocon has São Paulo (2e) et Pierre Gasly has São Paulo (3e) and at Qatar (5e).

The Mexican driver's record deteriorated significantly during the season, with 103 points registered in the first six Grand Prixand only nine during the last eight. Or the number of drivers who have broken their points record this season. Logically, Lando Norris et Oscar Piastri both achieved their best points total, driving the fastest car in the field. Among the twenty-four drivers who started at least one Grand Prix in 2024, alone Valtteri Bottas played the entire season without managing to unlock his points counter. A historic performance. By finishing the Grand Prix d’Abou Dhabi at 7e place and without the slightest incident, Pierre Gasly became the first driver in history not to cause any damage to his car in a race, during the entirety of a racing season. Formula 1.

This season, the prize for the greatest number of race retirements goes to Alexander Albon. The pilot Williams failed to cross the checkered flag six times and was unable to start the Sao Paulo Grand Prixafter causing serious damage to his car during the qualifying session held the same morning.
Second in this sad ranking, Yuki Tsunoda et Sergio Perez both have four abandonments.
