Paul Aron will be Alpine's reserve driver next year. The French team announced it on Saturday morning on its X account. The young Estonian (20 years old) is currently entered in the Formula 2 Championship. With seven podiums, he occupies fourth place in the ranking. He will start from pole position for the Qatar GP on Sunday. At Alpine, Aron will replace Australian Jack Doohan (who will be one of the two Alpine drivers next year with Pierre Gasly, Esteban Ocon leaving for Haas).
