If you didn't have the courage to get up this morning, qualifying for the Las Vegas Grand Prix gave a lot of spectacle on track, notably with Pierre Gasly's magnificent third time. But for others, this timed session was a nightmare. Well on his way to achieving a big performance, Franco Colapinto was tipped to get a ticket for Q3. Well ahead of his teammate Alexander Albon, the Argentinian could have shined under the lights of the Strip.

But at the very end of Q2, the Williams driver smashed his car into the wall at the exit of turn sixteen, causing a red flag. After recovering the data from the car, the native of Buenos Aires suffered a violent shock of 50G. A little stunned by this terrible crash, the doctors are going to do some tests to assess his physical abilities for tomorrow's race. The young prodigy is waiting for doctors' authorization to be able to ride. If everything goes well, he will start from fourteenth place on the starting grid.
