Hungry for sport, he grew up to the sound of Formula 1 engines and the exploits of Ronaldinho. Today, with a Master's degree in sports journalism, he no longer misses an F1 Grand Prix or a PSG match, his two passions and specialties.
Always very active behind the scenes to unearth great talents for PSG, Luis Campos would be very interested in Geovany Quenda, the new crack of Portuguese football. At the age of 17, the Sporting CP winger has shined since his debut in the professional world, to the point of having a profile compared to that of a certain Ousmane Dembélé.
Considered one of the best talent scouts, Luis Campos seems to be the perfect man to carry out the new project of the PSG which consists of recruiting promising young talents. So, Vitinha, Bradley Barcola, Désiré Doué or even João Neves have all arrived in Paris in recent months and Luis Campos does not want to stop there.
Geovany Quenda, the new Ousmane Dembélé?
Indeed, THE TEAM recently revealed that the PSG was interested in Geovany Quenda (17 years old) the very promising winger of Sporting CP. Eurosport therefore looked at the profile of the young Portuguese, a “left-handed playing on the right wing“. A profile which is reminiscent of that of a certain Ousmane Dembélé, untouchable in the eyes of Luis Enrique.
A release clause set at €100M
However, to recruit Geovany Quendayou will have to take out the checkbook. Aware of having a huge crack, the Sporting CP has already strengthened his 17-year-old winger who now has a release clause of €100 million. Therefore, the PSG will have to strike hard to afford the new jewel of Portuguese football.
