Before this Las Vegas Grand Prix, Alpine is 6th in the standings with 49 points. An unexpected total at the start of the season. Which allows the team to overtake Haas by 3 small points. A team that is nevertheless much more regular in its results in 2024 than Alpine. The stated objective of Pierre Gasly and Esteban Ocon is to maintain this place in the manufacturers ranking. It will be a challenge, but the team has been exceptional and I really think we can do it”.

In 2023, which was also a complicated season for the French team, Esteban Ocon managed to finish 4th in the race. Pierre Gasly failed to reach the points by finishing 11th.
