Charles Leclerc has shared his confidence in the Ferrari project, as he still races behind his goal of becoming World Champion.
After winning the two most important races in his eyes, namely Monza (in 2019 and 2024) and Monaco (in 2024), Charles Leclerc now wants to achieve the ultimate goal: to be crowned F1 World Champion.
“Now it doesn’t matter where I win,” Leclerc said in Pirelli's Box Box Box podcast. “I just want to win as much as possible, and being able to win the world championship is all that matters to me now.”

Leclerc: “A lot of work to do in the coming years, but I believe in it”
Asked about the difficulty linked to this objective of winning the world championship, Charles Leclerc believes he is in a good position at Ferrari.
“To get to Formula 1 you not only need talent and hard work, but you also need a bit of luck to find yourself in the right place at the right time,” explains Leclerc. “And I feel like now luck is secondary and it’s not a topic anymore.”
“It's all about us, our ability to work as a team, and the work we do as a team to reach the world championship. I feel like we're working well. However, it's a relative sport and it all depends on how others work, and they are working very well so far. So we have a lot of work to do in the next few years, but I believe in it.”
“As I said when I re-signed with Ferrari and renewed my contract, I love Ferrari so much, but I know that to give the best and extract the best from myself, I have to believe in the project at hand. 100%. And I am sure that Ferrari is the next team that will be world champions. We just have to keep working.”
